This year Earth Hour falls on 28th March at 8.30pm - 9.30pm (local time). In the midst of growing concern of the pandemic that hits us there are precautionary measures set by governments all around the world i.e. social distancing or restriction of movement to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. During this challenging time even though you are stuck at home you can simply switch off the lights and join the movement with some fun.



Here are some of the things you can do to celebrate this global movement and take action on the impact of climate change:


1. Have a candlelit dinner

Cook a special dinner with and for your loved ones. Set up some candles to create an intimate atmosphere in the comfort of your own home.


2. Play a board game

Grab your favourite board games out and spend the night having a bit of friendly competition with your loved ones.


3. Shadow Puppet Show

This is the perfect activities for families with young kids! Switch off the lights and put on a show! All you need is a big torch, a thin cloth and some pre-made cut out shapes puppet and you are ready for a shadow puppet theatre production.


4. Practice your night time photography skills

With today advanced technology of our smartphones camera they are a great tool to practice your night time photography skills! Who knows your photo might be the next big hit in social media!


5. Make a resolution. Commit to reducing your carbon footprint.

It's a good day to make a resolution to reduce your carbon footprint. Yes, switching off non-the lights when leaving the room for 15 minutes or more, or switch to e-billing to save paper and the list goes on.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) allows businesses large and small to make positive change. CSR helps build trust, raise awareness and encourage social change and they comes in many forms. Whether it's a charitable giving, volunteering in the community, reducing carbon foot print, etc. it makes a huge impact to the society.


Build a bike - This engaging, fun and fast-moving Team Building activity that takes the team to build a bike. All the bicycles are donated to children's home.

The room layout can have a huge impact on the engagement and learning in an event. This corporate company chose a special setup portraying a fun and casual environment during the conference. Colourful chairs, stools, sofas and bean bags are used during the event. The company have decided to donate the furnitures after the event ended, to the local charity homes.

Our company have taken this opportunity to give back to the community in the simplest way. With the consent of the couple from a wedding we have re-purpose the flowers from the wedding reception into mini bouquets and sending it off to an old folks home. In which it was Mother's day week. Perfect timing!
